Shadow Glyph (#1)

“When Dryn, a young villager, stumbles upon the final moments of the Crown Magician’s death, he becomes the first to learn of a brutal genocide against magic.  The common man can only use magic if a spell bestows that ability upon him, and in the wake of this conflict men might lose magic entirely.  From paradox to ultimate truth, Dryn must find his way in a land of which he knows nothing.”

–Back of the book

Shadow Glyph is my debut novel, the first of a planned series of five.  I wrote it during my first year of university, back in 2009.  I recall writing the finishing chapters sitting in the back seat of a rented van on the return trip from visiting my relatives in New Brunswick.

Since finishing Shadow Glyph, I’ve been busy with school and editing, but I’m finally going ahead with publishing.  I’m excited to open this new chapter of being a writer, and especially to get started on writing Book 2.

Pages featured in the drop down menu above will contain spoilers.  I intend them for readers that have finished Shadow Glyph, so read at your own risk.
